CMYK paintingColour experiment...
As I've been exploring the tonal qualities of different colour so far this year (mainly reds, browns and blues) I decided to experiment with the 4 litho colours CMYK separately and together as litho CMYK separation features largely in my professional work. Here's part of a self portrait using all 4. There's minimal use of white. I'm interested in using the mono characteristics of each colour to convey emotion. More to follow...

LIke it. A big jump from one colour to 4! Have you considered using a simple complimentary pair (with a bit of black and white)? Or even temperature opposites for added sense of depth?
